Made it to England!!!!

Travel has gone smoothly so far. We appreciate all of your prayers. We ended up at a hotel too far from downtown London to really do much sight seeing yesterday, but we were able to find some good “fish n chips” and a soft bed so that was cool. This morning we ended up on two different busses to Gatwick Airport; however, we managed to reunite in time to check in and now we are waiting for the flight to Riga. You should all be proud of your kids they have done great.

More when we get to Riga.

Thanks too everyone who drove us and accompanied us to the airport. It was a great blessing to have you all there.

Great News from Limbazi

I recieved this email from Janis (the pastor in Limbazi) last week. Lasma and Dace are sisters and both were translators at the camps for us last summer. They are really neat girls and it is so awesome to see God at work in their lives!!!
Janis writes...

Dear friends, I want you to be together with us in our celebration for the glory of our Lord and Savior tomorrow we will be baptizing 5 people. There are 2 (Lasma, Dace) and 2 (Irma, Lonija) sisters and one older man (Janis - now we are 4 Janis's in our churc :))) ). 2 younger sisters have grown in the church but the Lord spoke to them last year and especially through the summer camp.2 older sisters have been coming to services for half a year and you could see how God would work in their lives and bringing them closer to Himself.Older gentleman also has a long story but God has changed him through His grace and made him new creature in Christ. I just want you to be with us in this joyful moment and pray for me and for these people who will be baptized. Please praise our Lord and Savior with us and be in prayers for us!!!

In Him and for Him!
Janis

2 DAYS AND COUNTING...

Ok the clock is winding down and it is almost time for our departure. Everyone is getting excited and some are even a bit nervous. Please be praying that God blesses our travel and all the logistics associated with it. Also, be praying for great team dynamics and communication to continue to develop. We are thankful for all who have made comments, so please leave an encouraging word when you visit the blog and keep on praying!
